Exercise with Senior Life
Zephyr Apartments has exercise once a month with Linda from Senior Life. There are 10-14 participants that come to do chair exercises in the lower community room. Handouts are given to help residents exercise at home or in small groups on their own. Keeping Seniors healthy, happy and independent in their own homes is the goal.
Strawberry Patch's also gets a visit, this month they have about 10 residents interested in the chair exercises. They too also love their handouts to exercise in the comfort of their own home or together in small groups. Strawberry Patch has an exercise group that meets Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for 45 minutes exercising to various Senior friendly exercise DVD's,

Fastnaucht Day at Strawberry Patch Village
Mardis Gras and Fastnaucht's and coffee. What a great way to start a snowy Tuesday morning.The Fastnaucht's were made in Lancaster, Pa and bought through the local CFC Fire Department to support their fundraiser. Glazed and powdered Fastnaucht's were pre-ordered by many residents and staff. There were many smiles leaving the community room.
