Happy New Year!
It's hard to believe we have another year under our belts. Here's to hoping we all have a happy and healthy New Year. Last year found our sites saying good bye to some of our long time residents and hello to new ones.
Strawberry voted for their Resident Association Officers in October who took their posts on January 1st very proudly. Marie is President, Diane is Vice President, Linda is the Treasurer and Ali is the Secretary. Sadly Ali is moving the end of January. We say thank you to 2015 Resident Association Officers for their service and input. Strawberry already has their 1st fundraiser planned for February, a Fasnacht sale as a morning coffee social.
Zephyr held their Resident Association Officers vote in December and they also took their posts proudly January 1st. Sharon is Prescient, Carol is Vice President, Lori is Secretary and Judy is Treasurer. We say thank you to our 2015 Resident Association Officers service and their input. The new Officer's have many ideas on how they want to fund raise, mainly through dinners and Hoagie sales. We wish them well in their efforts.
Many speakers are lined up for our monthly socials and we hope our residents take home information they didn't know before they walked into their socials.

Care Givers of America
Care Givers of America visits Strawberry Patch and Zephyr Apartments. Their message was short and sweet, there are programs out there for all ages and abilities. You just have to look and ask.
Care givers of America is also part of the Lehigh County Waiver program. So get yourself assessed by Lehigh County Area on aging and get the process rolling for programs you may qualify for.
